West Mead #1 was dispatched to Franklin Pike for a report of wires down across the roadway with a transformer down also. 28-14 and 28-13 responded to the scene. Reports from a nearby homeowner indicated a truck with a large trailer caught the low hanging lines, snapping the utility pole nearby. Dept. 28 units shut down Franklin Pike until the utility company arrived and removed the wires.
