West Mead #1 was dispatched by Crawford County Office of Emergency Services for an unknown type fire in the West Mead Industrial Park at 6:44 a.m.

While Department 28 was responding with 28-11 and 28-12, Chief 4 (Cochranton) arrived on scene and reported a working car fire to the incoming units. 28-11 arrived on scene and forced entry into private parking area and began suppression with one hand line. 28-12 arrived and staged for additional water as needed. West Mead #1 placed all units back into service shortly after 8:00 a.m.
