At 8:50 AM West Mead #1 was dispatched to a report of a tree and wires down on Hunter Road. Assistant Chief Craig Lauer responded to the scene and reported a tree partially blocking the roadway with no wires involved. Engine 28-12 responded with a crew that quickly removed the tree and cleared the roadway. All 28 units returned to service within 30 minutes.
