At 7:18 AM West Mead #1 and #2 were dispatched with Meadville Ambulance for a shed on fire on Talon Street with exposure of a second shed. Engines 28-12, 28-11, 28-13, and 29-2 responded to the small storage shed. Chief Brad Johnston reported the homeowner had nearly extinguished the fire before 28’s arrival. The crew from 28-12 pulled a preconnected 1 3/4″ handline and completed overhaul of the shed’s interior. West Mead #2 firefighters assisted with overhaul, while Meadville Ambulance’s crew evaluated the homeowner.

No injuries were reported, and all 28 units returned to service by 8:33 AM.
