Around 6:30 PM on December 2 West Mead 1 was dispatched to assist Cochranton with a reported structure fire in the borough. With several of our members on a funeral detail 28-12 responded initially with 28-11 following as members returned from the detail. Crews from Cochranton conducted an investigation and determined the source of smoke to be from cooking. Our firefighters supported the investigation with thermal imaging while another crew stood by on the fireground.
