Following a serious motor vehicle accident early Saturday morning on Liberty Street, West Mead 1 firefighters jumped into action to help the homeowner secure a damaged section of the front porch. The structure suffered damage due to the impact from the motor vehicle accident. Once the scene had been secured and patient care was completed, crews worked on removing several broken sections of window and utilized salvage covers from 28-12 to cover the window openings and protect the interior of the residence from the weather.
