West Mead #1 was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident on Meadowland Drive in West Mead Township in the evening of June 13, 2011. Initial dispatch reported one vehicle into a pole on fire. 28-12, 28-13, and 28-11 responded. Upon arrival, all occupants were found out of the vehicle. 28-13 arrived on scene first and deployed a hand line for fire suppression. Units remained on scene until approximately 11pm. Assisting departments included Meadville Ambulance Department 33 and West Mead Township Police.
