On March 7, 2018, West Mead 1 was dispatched at 6:18 PM for a motor vehicle accident on Morgan Street. Chief 28 arrived on scene, confirming one vehicle in the ditch with moderate damage.

Engines 28-11 and 28-13 responded with crews attending to patient care and providing traffic control on Morgan Street until the vehicle was removed by the towing company. One patient was transported by Meadville Ambulance and all units were in service by 6:59 PM.
