At 11:38 AM West Mead #1 was dispatched with West Mead #2, Vernon Central, and Saegertown to assist Meadville Central with a structure fire on Leslie Road. Engines 28-12 and 28-13 responded to the scene, a single-story brick residence with fire in the attic. Meadville Central crews brought the fire under control before the other responding units arrived on scene. West Mead #2 and Vernon Central personnel helped with overhaul and West Mead #1 provided some assistance with clean-up.

All 28 units returned to service by 12:45 PM.
