West Mead 1 firefighters responded with other fire companies to assist Meadville Central with a structure fire at a two-story single-family residence on Pine Street. We extend our condolences to the family and friends of the victim who passed away following a heroic rescue by neighbors.

my condolences and prayers go out to the family of the loss. I don’t know the woman’s name but she was very sweet and kind to my children on Halloween she would give them big candy bars and healthy snacks and even some money and when they seen that their facial expressions said it all they were so excited and that’s all I ever heard. they always kept asking me when is Halloween Mama so we can go see our new adopted Grandma? my children adopted her like a grandma to them. they always want to go place something on the lot where the house used to be at but I don’t want them to get in trouble 😞
