This week for drill West Mead #1 personnel met at Alden Street for a work session including maintenance on Engines 28-12 and 28-11. Working in small teams, they emptied and cleaned the compartments before organizing and returning equipment to its respective compartment. Lieutenant Mike Prystaloski and Trustee Paul Taormina worked on fixing a leak on 28-12’s bleeder valve. Another team practiced pump operations while using a hand line to hose gravel from the parking lots at Alden Street.
