West Mead #1 members conducted weekly training Tuesday evening. This week’s evolutions focused on stretching hose lines longer than most operations require. Currently West Mead #1 utilizes pre-connected hose lines ranging in length from 150′ to 200′. During this weeks training, members worked on stretching lines 350′ in length. Newer members also worked on nozzle control and reviewed water supply principles while establishing a fill site for the engines during the training.
