The fire officers of West Mead #1 and West Mead #2 changed things up this week for drill. Firefighters from both departments had a busy winter and spring between incidents and training. To say thank you to our members for their dedication to West Mead Township and the surrounding areas, the departments joined together to have a fun evening together playing dodgeball. Teams were mixed with members from both departments and a good time was had by all.

Thank you to all the members of both departments for all that you do. Each one of you represents the most important resource the fire departments have—our staffing.

While some West Mead #1 members participated in dodgeball with West Mead #2, Engine 28-12 deployed with a small crew to assist with a controlled burn near Devore Road.
