Structure fire calls, including assists to mutual aid departments
On November 1, West Mead #1 was dispatched to assist Vernon Central with a working structure fire on Perry Highway, then later responded to assist Meadville Central with a vehicle accident on Washington St.
At 5:59 PM West Mead #1 was dispatched as part of a second alarm to assist Meadville Central with a structure fire on Waelde Alley near Randolph Street.
At 9:19 AM West Mead #1 and #2 were dispatched with Meadville Ambulance for a reported structure fire on McGraw Street.
At 11:05 AM on Thursday West Mead #1 was dispatched as part of a second alarm to assist Meadville Central with a structure fire on Park Avenue, just north of W John Street.

At 2:16 PM West Mead #1 was dispatched for a reported structure fire at Woodland Heights on Arthur Street. Firefighters found a washer appliance component had failed, spreading smoke throughout the building.
On August 20 West Mead #1 was dispatched at 5:48 PM as part of a second alarm to assist Meadville Central with a working fire on Race Street.
Just before 5:00 PM West Mead #1 was dispatched with other departments to assist Cochranton VFD with a working structure fire on Griffen Road.
At 12:04 AM West Mead #1 responded as part of a second alarm to assist Vernon Township VFD with a working structure fire on Cussewago Road.
Shortly after 2:00 PM on Tuesday, West Mead #1 was dispatched as part of a second-alarm assist to Meadville Central for a working fire with possible entrapment.
