At 2:07 PM West Mead #1 responded for a reported structure fire and fought a brush fire along Williamson Road with help from mutual aid.
At 10:45 AM West Mead #1 was dispatched for a medical call on Pettis Road with a possible gas leak. Rescue Chief Jayme Corey and Meadville Ambulance arrived on scene and confirmed the need for an engine company to assist with a natural gas leak in the residence.

On November 25 West Mead #1 was dispatched for a smoke investigation at Woodland Heights on Arthur Street, with a report of burnt food with smoke in the apartment.
On November 7 West Mead #1 assisted Meadville Central with a training program for Meadville residents. Children and parents from the city were invited into Meadville Central for several hours to tour the apparatus and get a hands-on demonstration of some of the tools used by firefighters.
At 1:32 PM West Mead #1 was dispatched for a brush fire on Cochranton Road (US 322) with exposure of a residence. Engines 28-12 and 28-13 responded to the scene, where the wind spread fire from a burn pile to a yard and a nearby tree.
