On March 28 West Mead #1 was dispatched at 05:59 AM to assist Meadville Fire Department for a working structure fire on Arch Street. Upon arrival, crews from 28-12 and 28-13 met up with crews from Dept. 16 and assisted with interior suppression on the first and second floors of the structure. Crews from 28 also assisted with ventilation as well as overhaul and other exterior work. West Mead #1 was back in service at 08:20 AM. Other departments assisting on scene included West Mead #2, Vernon Central, Saegertown, and Meadville Ambulance.
