At 7:22 AM West Mead #1 was dispatched to assist Cochranton with a commercial structure fire at Greer’s Beer Distribution, the scene of a working fire earlier in the week. Engines 28-13, 28-12, and 28-11 responded to the incident. On arrival Department 28 crews assisted with clearing soffit from the eaves to open up the attic, where a smoldering fire had filled the attic space with heat and smoke. Working from ladders and the roof, firefighters quickly brought the fire under control and cooled the attic space.

All 28 units returned to service by 9:25 AM.
