At 8:46 AM West Mead #1 was dispatched to assist West Mead Police with traffic control at a motor vehicle accident on Cochranton Road (US 322). Engines 28-13 and 28-11 responded to the three-vehicle incident at the intersection of Wilson Chutes Road and US 322. Dept 28 personnel directed traffic around the accident scene until West Mead PD concluded their investigation and the vehicles were towed or released.

All 28 units returned to service by 10:07 AM.
