West Mead #1 switched training nights this week to participate in a mutual aid drill at East Mead VFC. 28-11 and 28-13 traveled to our neighboring department and spent the evening with John Bauer who reviewed bus rescue and Allen Clark who reviewed DECON and triage. Vernon Central and Meadville Ambulance also had crews in attendance. This training was conducted as part of a series of trainings culminating with a full scale bus incident involving EMA, multiple fire/rescue and EMS agencies, along with school district administration and Meadville Medical Center.
