West Mead #1 was dispatched at 11:03 AM for trees and wires down on Alden Street. Department 28 provided traffic control and assisted Penelec and PennDOT with removal of a very large tree and debris, braving 50mph wind gusts and heavy downpours for about 4.5 hours. All 28 units returned to service just before 5pm.
