Fire departments from around the county teamed together to continue to refine tanker shuttle and dump tank operations. Vernon Central, Vernon Twp, Conneaut Lake, Greenwood, Linesville, Hayfield, Fallowfield, Cochranton, East Mead, Randolph, and West Mead #1 all participated in the drill. The objective of the training was to supply 27-9 with 1000 gpm from the shuttle. 28-13 along with 9-8 established water supply and set up to fill four tankers at a time while other departments shuttled water and worked at the dump site. Today’s drill was a continuation of work this spring between multiple fire departments to increase efficiency and effectiveness at large incidents.
