While some members of West Mead #1 participated in a Crawford County Scuba Team exercise on Pymatuning, others practiced pulling pre-connected attack lines and pumping. Crews took West Mead #1’s three engines to Neason Hill Elementary’s parking lot to pull the 1 3/4″ pre-connected hose lines from the front bumper and crosslay sections of Engine 28-13 and the 2 1/2″ ground monitor from Engine 28-11. The practice focused on efficient deployment and correct repacking. After rotating through the stations for each pre-connect, the drill concluded with individual driver training and pumping practice.
